Camino Trifecta – The Where, When and How

So although I have been planning this for months now I have not updated my blog.  This year I will be once again going back to the Camino de Santiago.  As  write this I have 57 days to go.  So what is the plan, well  am returning to walking.  I enjoyed cycling last year on the French route but really did feel I lost the Perigrino spirit so plan to get that back by taking to my feet.

I am also going to do a different route, and will start in Porto and walk the Camino Portugues this is defo a shorter route at around (232km).  I hope to do this in around 9 ish days.  Following this I will be joined by my girlfriend Lauren before we get the bus to Ferrol and do the Camino Ingles and hope to do this over 4 days.  Then to finish off we plan to walk another 4 days and walk to Fisterra/Finistere and then Muxia.

So the Plan is this ish:

25 Rest day/travel day bus back to Santiago 26th
26 Rest 27th
27 Rest 28th
28 fly home 29th
I must stress this is a rough plan and not fixed apart from when I need to be in Santiago to meet Lauren and obviously the flight home.  There may be many deviations from this.  You will also notice that unlike my original walking Camino this time I have rest days and my days are not silly distances.  But with this is in mind I may finish the Porto route earlier than this displays.
