Day 21 - San Martin del Camino to Astorga - 24km

So we have definitely been joined by some new pilgrims, they woke up early and took an hour to faff. We woke up an hour later and still beat them out the door. Camino Bambi's are fun to watch. Yasser and I walked together tho we were soon joined by Pippa an Australian Woman I have briefly met before but not talked with. We all had a good natter which passed the time well. 

The Camino has finally started changing back and we had some hills and different terrain today which was a welcome change. Thankfully bars were open too so no use getting breakfast too. Was definitely a hot one towards the end tho, so was glad it was a fairly short day. We got in about half 12 and it's nice to be in a big town to get some things from shops ready for the upcoming hills.  Tomorrow we will get close to top of the Cruz de Ferro so we can get up there first thing the day after.
