Day 26 - O Cebreiro to Tricastela - 21km

So a surprising ok sleep last night considering the beds were super close together and lots of people in the same room and it was warmer than the sun. So although today was a short 21km day most like me still got up to be on the Camino by 6.

There was still a bit to climb before going through some small villages with unsurprisingly closed cafes that early in the morning but beautiful views meandering through the hills. I left in my own today and made good progress. I got to the last town before the decent before I could find a cafe open for coffee I'm guessing some 6k in.

I had a big coffee and tortilla as the guy had just cut a fresh one out the oven. I met a Canadian chap, Sylvain a retired fellow IT guy, so walked and chatted with him. We ended up walking together for the rest of the day. Lots of similarities of view so we had a good chat.

After one more Coffee break it was just a meander down the mountain, but not as steep as the previous mountains. Still super pretty tho but a nice relaxed day after the mountain slog yesterday. I have lots of time left and maybe 9 days walking so no rush. I am fighting the urge to move faster but I really have time so not sure why it keeps coming up. Maybe a new lesson to learn.
