Day 25 - Villafranca del Bierzo to O Cebreiro - 28km

So we got up as usual at 6 am, Yasser, Denise and I knew the mission today. The first 10k was largely walking by the roads and seeing the bridges all above us carrying the bigger roads and motorways through the valleys.

Today was a lot of little towns some very dead and others with little life but some nice cafes. So after the second 10k it starts going up. The time past very quickly tho and it's been cloudy but still quite warm so kinda sun showers. So today I was beyond sweaty mess people described it that I had walked into the shower with all my clothes on. I had already drunk 4 litres of water, 2 coffee's a 3 aquarius.

Then the last 10k was a full on slog fest:

We were making good progress but it was definitely a hard day for most peeps but such a good achievement to know the biggest mountains is almost done.

We got one town before the main mission. And thats where it happened, Yasser cut me down in the prime of life by declaring he was staying there. So I ventured forth on my own to complete the mission and actually the last bit wasn't as bad as the stuff before it.

The hills were looking very good tho and I'm very happy to have done the last big hill.
