So this morning a lot of ppl work up early probably due to the extra distance so I hit the Camino at 5:45. I made really good progress and about 5k in I stopped for toast and was possibly the best so far on the Camino (pic below).
I got back on the Camino fuelled by toast only to see hundreds of kids being dropped off on buses now taking up all the Camino so got a wiggle on and tried to move past them all. Walking fast and nudging them out the way.
I soon made it to Melide the half way town today and where I was wanting to get grub but saw the front on the school party so walked on for 2k hoping they stopped a while then dived in a cafe for more food, coffee and an aquarius. Only to watch the first group go past, so I finished my food and just aimed to get in front of them again.
All the overtaking made the day go quick and I was free again. Normal pilgrims for the last bit. So had to try hard to keep the pics looking nice.
