So today our albergue did breakfast so that was a better start to the day, bread, jam, orange juice and coffee!
We set off just before 7 was actually spitting to rain as we were leaving but we were spared any further issues and it cleared up! Today I decided to give my blisters a break so am wearing my walking sandals.
We decided today to head to estella which was only 30km but with a few of the group having sore feet and tired legs a longer rest was called for.
Again the signs completely lied about the distances and we actually did closer to 26k. Was a nice paced walk until the sun properly come out to melt me! My feet started getting very hot and started feeling a rub in my left foot and shock horror another new blister from my walking sandals!
As there wasn’t much left until Estella just carried on had a shower and then gave my feet some tlc! Will take a few pictures of an average albergue today’s was 6 euro so all good has wifi so even better! We will relax this afternoon and have some grub and no doubt the standard 10pm early night!
My dad asked me to include on here how long remaining until Santiago and although all the signs and guide books lie it’s apparently 661 km to go not bad progress for 4 days!
