So we did our best to sneak out this morning quitely and not wake anyone up and although a misty start no rain. Tho it didn’t matter because the hills were enough to make you sweat through all your clothes. Some of the other camino’s I have done are up and down but this Camino is another level.
We made good progress but we’re both still tired and not yet aclimitised and I can’t seem to consume enough fluids for the amount I’m sweating. So our progress was slow and the hills are not helping.
So another slog and not to many pictures. So the mission tonight is to refuel and tomorrow has less hills so fingers crossed. It’s fair to say Karen cursed me a lot today. After day 2 I’m not so sure she is even slightly a bit happy with me.
We had a good lunch tho, not bad for 6.50 euros with a drink.
There was also a lot of mountain trails and river trails today. But still some road walking. I was busy leaking and huffing and puffing. We are in a highly recommended albergue tonight (another following the arrows tip) they have a super chill vibe and there is a communal meal and breakfast and they do your washing too all on a donation.
