I met a French guy called Claud and we walked together chatting. We made good progress and after about 5k stopped for breakfast. Carrot cake and coffee hit the spot.
So the plan today was to have a fairly light day and it was mainly Forrest walking but some knarly paths in parts and a steep descent to to finish. I was shooting for the Municipal Albergue today as they don't take bookings but wasn't sure how busy it was going to be.
Lots of pretty paths today tho.
We arrived in good time so by 1 ish I was all done, showered and clothes washed. So a nice afternoon chill.
Tho this evening there was no bars doing food so Yasser a chap I met on the train and crossed paths a few times, cooked pasta for a few of us. Mary & Danielle are in the albergue opposite and I had to thread a blister for Mary so it's feeling like I'm getting into the Camino vibe for sure now.
Another early night tonight, Pamplona beckons.
