Left as usual for 6 am, very much in the groove now of the wake and go stuff. I discovered a blister on my right heal but lower than I can fix, so now I'm aware of it, it's clearly all I can think about but it's in a place you just have to drive through with your foot regardless.
Made good progress and there was a little cafe selling local cakes so had one which was like a baked custard tart and another which was a sugary dough on a ice cream waffle with cinnamon. Was mucho tasty with an aquarius and a coffee.
Then made good progress heading through little villages. A few rough hills but not a bad day. Arrived at the albergue before 12 so my pace must not have been too bad.
Staying in the Municipal Albergue again, the same as 10 years back as I enjoyed it last time too. Unfortunately there is a local bank holiday today so most of the stuff is closed but the cafe opposite is open so it may need to be a double perigrino menu day.
Did a machine wash and Rafi got a few of us to do a yoga routine to hilarious noises and failed manuever's. My blister has grown today so the threading can begin.
Think Los Arcos (21k) is the target tomorrow so I can line up Logrono the following day and may look for a hotel treat.
