We made good progress in the dark for the first hour, but you could see quite well with moonlight and it was still quite warm. we got to a town about 10km in but alas still too early for bars to be open for coffee.
So we walked on, making good progress by 10am we had walked 20km to another town. Still no bars but a shop did boccadilo's and aquarius and the randomly did us a coffee so all was right in the world once again.
Even at 10 am it was now very hot a d the last part was a hot slog in the heat but I had good water so just drank loads. And soon arrived in my destination for the day, very pleased the 5 am start made all the difference.
