Day 18 - Terradilos de Los Templarios to El Burgo Ranero - 31km

So another 5 am start, I soon made it to the next town to find Monique, Eva, Luc, Sean, Susan & Brad the American couple leaving so we all walked together.  We made solid progress to Sahagun and was rewarded with coffee and breakfast. Monique's knee is causing her trouble so she got the bus to our target town.

We officially passed the Camino half way point today too so very pleased. 

Alas we had 17k to go from there. It had threatened to rain today but was mainly just a bit spitty. So not worth the waterproofs. Thankfully after 10k another cafe, so another coffee and bocadillo made it better. Then a slow but steady final 7. 

So the plan is officially on, but I have extended my Leon break. I am now booked in a hotel for 3 nights so 2 full rest days but tomorrow will be a 37k day but worth the last big effort I'm sure.
